What to Expect from a Short Term Apartment Lease

Short term leasing typically requires a minimum lease of 3 months although Month to Month does exist. Only a small percentage of Apartments offer Short Term Leasing so you selection will be far less. Also you may be required to pay an additional amount or "up-charge" for any lease deemed short term. An up-charge can add up to 25% more to your lease depending upon the property AND the 25% is based upon standard market pricing which in itself is nearly always HIGHER than rent for a 6 month or greater stay. Day to day accommodations have no up-charges. Depending on stay rates will change but are more expensive than short term apartment leases.
